I have 2008 LC 200 series. One of the tail lights is out, driver's side. I can take out the whole assembly. That's pretty easy. It gives me access to the turn signal bulb. What I can't get to or figure out how to change is the red tail light itself. If you zoom in you can see the light I'm asking about.

Any ideas?

Thanks

I don't know how to edit my message....

I had another picture to share - it is the back of the tail light assembly. On the bottom you'll see a gray circular disc. The is the indicator light bulb. I believe the bulb I'm looking for, is under the white 4-pin connecter. I just don't know how to access it.

Not familiar with 08, but some ideas...
First off, is the 08 using a bulb or LED? You can find that from the owner manual.
There is no aparent way in the pic for a bulb to be extracted through any of the remaining openings. That means that the lamp must be disassembled. Try to take the screws off and see if you are lucky and it is not also glued. Take lots of pics so you know how to put it back together.

The lights are bulbs, but I did buy some LEDs for it as part of a small upgrade. Also doing the interior lights.

Anyways, your suggestion to under the surrounding screws. I had tried this. The lens does not come apart, it has been glued to the housing, my guess is so the water stays out.

The thing is, I find hard to believe, that if this light goes out, you would have to replace the whole assembly.

Our stop lights are LEDs on a PCB and are not replaceable. Occasionally individual LEDs will go out as well.

Think it is pretty much enclosed. Wanted to wash mine out this summer like I did with the inner ones but the outer ones are rly hardly glued together
