Greetings to all!

I wish to replace T-case R151F transfer part time on H150F full time.
On what models TLC with the engine 1HZ in 1990-1997 it was established H150F full time?

I will be grateful for any information on this theme.

Where there even any - Maybe an old HZJ80 if you are lucky.

If you are replacing the R151F and transfer case - I would look at doing the motor as well.

I just had it done on mine - 1HD-T, H151F, HF2A and removed the free wheeling hubs on the front.

Cheers

Andrew

yep the hzj80s had h150 or h151 and top of the range was full time and the basic models were part time 44x4

The theme passes in a forum of users 80

Many Thanks for andrewm42, Clint79 and roscoFJ73!

You are Really help me. I found information that H150F full time was on HZJ81GX and will ask him.

Good luck!

What is the advantage to changing from part time to full time transfer?

x2 Uses more fuel. Most want to go the other way from full time to part time.
Maybe not having to get out and lock hubs in the Russian winter is a good thing;)

In that case, wouldn't you just leave the hubs locked, and change to 4WD with the transfer when needed?

I guess you could,the hubs on my 75 have been locked in.....for ....oh..... 3-4 years now:eek: :D

the other day in my brothers 80 series did a uturn and there was sand banks on both side of the road instead of doing a 3 point turn just drove through it n i was thinking dam that was just to easy not hubs or gear sticks to do

but then when i minced my front diff the other day i was thankfull i could unlock my hubs and shift out of 4x4 to get home

so good and bad in both i rekon

one of my mates with a 75 the day he bought it locked his hubs and said he is to lazy to unlock them so they have been locked like yours rosco
but every now and again i will unlock one of his hubs and watch him hit the sand and click it in 4x4 and get bogged :D

With the 80 you could still disconnect the front driveshaft ??

disconect the tail shaft and push the centre diff lock button ,but the AWD 80 series dont have hubs either mate and if youve lost diff teeth you dont be wanting the wheels to spin the axels
or am i missing something:hmm:
