Repl. Carb - What years work?

I have an 84 60 with a Holley and want to return to stock carb set up. Which years will work for my truck for the carb and air cleaner? Will an Aisan carb and air cleaner off a 78 40 work? I am thinking it won't. I read the article in tech. What else will I need to get to return to a desmogged stock condition? I bought the truck this way. Thanks for your help.

8/80-87 fj60(and fj40) BUT if you have AC make sure the carb has the AC idle up stuff, if it didnt have AC, the carb didn't have the idle up. I used a fj60 carb in place of my 82 fj40 carb with no AC.

The non-AC carbs mostly showed up on the 81s and 82s; pretty much all the ones 83 and newer will have the idle-up linkages.
