Hey everyone, I have some rust underneath my back passenger window trim that I want to sand down and paint. I’ve searched but was unable to find any related posts. I don’t want to damage the trim by removing it incorrectly. Anyone have any tips, links or knowledge to share?

Those louvered trim pieces aren't super expensive, but the are likely going to break regardless of how carefull you are when removing them. Plastic parts age very poorly and become incredibly brittle on the interior of a vehicle, it is only accelerated on the exterior. I believe there is at least 1 nut on the backside of that piece that you'll have to remove the interior trim to get to.
