Removing the rear tail-light lens, 02 4-runner

As the title says, how do I remove the rear passenger tail light lens. I removed the two screws and then what? I try to pull the whole assembly off but it does not want to come out, will I break anything if I apply more pressure?

What he said.. pull towards the side. The Owner's Manual shows an illustration with the right direction of movement.
