Hi
I need to remove my lh rear tail light to check if there is a short in the yellow lh indicator trailier wiring as there is minimal voltage at the trailer coupling. The indicators on my 105 series are working but it will not power the trailer ( a caravan) indicator.
I have removed the two screws which hold the tail light unit in place but cannot dislodge the front/lower clip.
Can anyone confirm the process for this? i.e. do you orce the assemblt sideways or not?
Any help greatly appreciated.

On the left you remove the screws and strike the side where you removed the screws with the base of your hand in a motion parallel to the tailgate and it will pop out. Same for right side just with left hand towards that side.

On a slightly similar note, how do you get at the taillight assembly that's in the tailgate?

100 Series Remove tailgate lights

Remove the cover using a flat head screw driver wrapped in tape

Then use a screw driver to remove the plate

Thanks guys
Taking your advice I got the tail light out easy but the trailer plug wiring doesn't go there. It was an after market towbar/ wiring install so I am not sure where it goes to?
