P O had rear heat hard pipes rot out, so he eliminated it, I would like to get it back together some day but for now I just want the front heat piped properly, I think P O has front heat routed wrong. It looks like there are 2 hot, out and 2 cold in + oil cooler from the u pipe assy, hot (top from u pipe) is going to the side of the heat valve, out the bottom of valve, into front heater core,(looks factory).Do I want to keep that, and put the return(from heater core directly to cold return (bottom u pipe ), and plug the other 2 some how, if so how. Please excuse me if I called something by a wrong name. I'll attach a diagram, and maybe someone can guide me. Thanks-Joe

I'd love to but I need to see if I can even bolt new ones on (rust).

Caps can be sourced from the parts store. Remove the rear hoses at the engine, then cap the 2 fittings.

Looping them together will allow all the heater juice to go through the loop, rather than going to the remaining front heater. That was a cold month, until my... um friend, yeah, my friend, figgered out that was killing the heat.

just make a loop in the engine compartment using heater hose. Connect it to the hard lines that go to the back, its easy, just get under there and look at it. I did mine 3 yrs ago and have had no problems, just be sure ot get good clamps as the heater hose will be std and the lines on the cruiser are metric.
