removing aerial and upgrading to shark fin

Had someone recommend this to me lately, but finding an installer I trust may be a challenge.

I think it's worth the risk, quite frankly. Technology moved beyond the AM/FM radio antennas and most of our rigs and these are surprisingly effective.

If it works for ya, I might just ditch my current setup(sticking inside the passenger window) and follow this..
 
I just went to the site you referenced and did a compatibility check with their vehicle identifier and there is nothing that works for any 1998 thru 2007 Landcruiser.
All it mentions on the site is Land Rover. Are you sure you have the right product??? :hmm:
So to answer your post, per the link you provided, it would not be possible for that shark fin to work on your rig.

Doesn't mean you can't give it a try! Heck for what it costs (about $15.00), I would probably give it a try. Not much to lose. :meh:
 
It would have to mounted on wing to be factory swap... Which would look stupid so it HAS to be a retro fit, and involves drilling holes in roof

Just don't know if running a long wire to front will work ok, and if I need special amplifier or noise suppressor
