relocating assistance

I'm coming out to CA for work and will be staying. I've traveled out to CA for work before but never to really live in CA.

I need some local assistance in where to live, can I commute and a reality check.

I'm looking for a reputable agent to help find an apartment.

I'll be working in Commerce and Rancho Cucamonga and we would like to be near the beach. Our first thought was either Huntington Beach or Newport Beach. I'm willing to commute an hour +. My hours will be flexible, so I'm hoping to avoid the worst of rush hour.

Can anyone recommend someone to help in our search? We will be coming out in Oct.
