My cruiser is stripped for some body work this week. While she's stripped bare I have been mocking up a front bumper. Glaring me in the face is the air conditioning receiver. It is not conveniently located. Can anyone recommend an air conditioning shop that can relocate it?

I grabbed mine and bent it at a 45 degree angle. There were even bolt holes that lined up. The bottom is now even with the fender skirt bottom edge. At the time the A/C wasn't charged so I wasn't too worried about it, but it's charged now and holding fine. :hillbilly:

Brittan the guys right next to my shop can get it done for you i believe I will ask them tomorrow

The stocker will move up about 1.5" just by gently reforming the lines, then trim the bottom of the bracket to match. BAP carries an aftermarket one that's about 2" shorter.

Unless it's BAP in Tucson, then they can't get anything but stock and thats a maybe. I wasted some time driving over there today(for the first and last time) to see if the one they have is shorter than the Tacoma one I got from Dan. To say the least, they were unhelpful and the guy never once looked up to see who he was blowing off.
The Taco one I got is 1 inch shorter than stock and I tweeked everything enough to gain almost 3 inches. Used new o-rings, I think they are nitrile, for AC service, and about an ounce of PAG oil in the new dryer. Tomorrow I'll get her recharged.

Must be a Tucson thing, I have always been treated well at the BAP here? The BAP one we put on Rob's was 6" long, part# ED-875 RD1225C ~$9.
