We took this off our ‘64 , wanted to know what it is and if it is worth keeping?

May be an early VR but not Toyota. Has “Made in USA” on it plus mounting base is not Toyota OEM, neither is the terminal nomenclature. Interesting though if it was actually used on your ‘64 in place of the original OEM VR.

John @pardion would the ‘64 still have had a generator or an alternator?

Thanks that make sense, it looks like it has been on there a long time, I thought the guys looked great for being that old!
