The last time I reinstalled the clutch support bracket, the bolts threaded into the bracket and then into the firewall okay but I couldn't get them through the clutch master cylinder bolt holes. The bolts kept pushing the master cylinder away rather than go far enough into those holes to get the nut started. Without having a second person to hold the master cylinder in place, how does one get the bolts to go through the mounting ears and stay in place long enough to crawl out from under the dash and thread the nuts on?

Ha! I had to replace the clutch pedal bushing on my '01, and I had the same - I roped the wife into lending a hand...

Hey man that's not cool...

I'm thinking maybe I can fasten the clutch bracket close enough to where it needs to be by using that bolt at the top of the bracket, then if I can find a nice tight drift pin, feed it through the CMC, the firewall, and hopefully the pin won't fall out when I insert the bolt from under the dash.

If that don't work then I guess I'll just have to be uncool.
