We will be leaving Meddy around 11am Friday. Is there going to be room at the campground for my gf and I or is there other places nearby? reserve sites? Never been there before.

Ya, there should be room :)

Some yahoo that kept following retro and me around on the trail.

Holy moly that was a lot of rain! Got up there Friday afternoon to a heavy drizzle which eventually turned into a pretty good downpour. Saturday was a non-stop rainstorm with heavy winds. I went on the medium run and my only problem came from the 4runner ejecting a rear spring twice. 4 minute fix and I was back on the trail. Got a little rock rash on my sliders and pretty good dent in one of them where I came down hard on a boulder. Got back to camp Saturday and everybody was going home including the event organizers. We packed up camp in 15 minutes with everything being soaked and drove the 5 1/2 hours home. On the way home there was a torrential downpour and high winds. Several points I-5 was doing 40mph and I was passing everyone trying to maintain 50mph. Absolutely insane amount of rain but we still had fun!!! Here are the few pictures I took. Unfortunately my GoPro was DOA so I only got still pics with my regular camera and I was worried about getting it wet so not too many.

Yup. It was wet. It was awesome. Despite the weather had a blast with rad people and sloppy wheeling.

Still hanging out in Portland area. Will post pics when home.

I'd say the run had a unique flavor.

Great pics Al! Glad you had a good time.
