Primo motorsports in Santa Ana. Hands down the most reliable, local , honest shop . 714-852-3449 ask for Eric. I have had my FJ62 in their twice for repairs . Not re gearing specifically but other work. They are a specialist in re gearing , and drive line . The president of our local land cruiser club has had extensive re gearing and other T case work in the last 6 months very satisfied with their work .

Not Orange County but Yotamasters in Corona. Not sure of your timeline. They are normally booked 3-4 months out for installs. You might have a quick turnaround there if you remove the 3rds yourself and drop them off.

I replied to PM with contact info. Good luck with the re-gear!

On Joe’s advice got my 100 regeared and had ARB lockers put in front and rear by Primo. Awesome guys and great work. Completed on time as promised. Yotamasters was like 3-4 months out, Cruiser tech in Laguna is super busy also and I never got a return call back for a estimate.
How much did it cost?

So glad you're pleased!

What size lift and tires are you running with those new gears? Looking at my 100 and just gathering info at this point!

Slight AHC 1” lift and 285/75/17..I should’ve went 315/70/17 though since I have a decent amount of room still after I moved my sliders back, hammered my pinch welds, and reshaped the fender liner.

Thanks for the info.
Sounds like three trips to a local rock garden!
What’s your new gear ratio? i had changed my 80 gears from 4.10 to 4.88 and 32 tires were small.
