Red x's where pics are supposed to be?

Hi Woody,

Question for ya. I just uploaded some pics in the 45 corner on my build up/resto thread. There were 5 pics total, after uploading I looked at the thread and they were all red x's. I went into the User control panel, and even though I am a silver star member, I deleted about 10 of my attachements. Thinking that this would free up some space.

Those last 5 pics on my last 2 posts on that thread now appear, but 1 above that with some pics of saginaw plates does not?

I'm not bitching, just wondering what I am doing wrong. Silver star members have unlimitted attachment space? Or do I have that incorrect? Only difference is that I'm on my in-laws computer right now in Fargo vs mine at home?

I see no red X's in the thread.....none....no clue why they would have shown for you....

And yes, with the star, you can upload unlimited pics, no reason to delete, ever...

It MIGHT be a connection/speed issue, but who knows.....

I am a big proponent of using Firefox, and disabling pics on this site. Ask anyone ; I am after raw, unadulterated technical data.. period !!!

Thanks for answering Woody. I'm not Mr. computer by any means. I went on to microsofts website and downloaded the latestest service pack. When I went back, all pics were fine?

Probably had nothing to do with it, but it worked after I did that. I don't even know why I did, just seemed like something to do that couldn't hurt the computer here?

Works now anyway.
