Hello everyone, we are planning a club event for the following Dates:
5/19,20,21
This club event is a multi Optional trail and camping experience. Several drivers are going to leave the o c area Mid morning friday5/19 . itinerary as follows. 2 nights/3days of camping & wheeling . However there is an option for those who wish for a day run Sat(only) 5/20 . The main feature run on saturday will include last chance canyon, Graduation hill climb, burro Schmidt tunnel & Other interesting sites . This planned trail is suitable for all vehicles including stock with some clearance. If daylight/time permits we may explore a little more around the area as well . Those who are for the day trip can then return home . drivers who are staying for camping whether both nights5/19,20 or 5/20 only . We will locate a suitable dispersed camp location for saturday night . The link below is the rally point for the saturday trail run . All drivers meeting @ 9am here . Ready to roll by 930 please.

The weather should be comfortable Considering high desert . I will monitor weather forecast in the event of any wind issue . drivers leaving friday , I will provide a rally point prior to the trip for us to meet . Most likely in the town of mojave (gas station). Or an alternate rally point in red rock canyon area ,near the 14fwy. mojave city is the last reasonable place to top off fuel & any additional professions needed . Drivers leaving on friday , We will do some exploring in the afternoon (Friday) & find a suitable dispersed camp location . If time permits some exploring in the morning Sunday am?? Sunday about 12 or earlier, travel day home . As of this post I believe camp fires are permitted . If they are not on native soils. I will be bringing a portable legal firing .
Please respond only to this post with a name, phone # (optional) , and specify (1or2) nights camping or day trip only. So we can plan accordingly what to expect .

Will try to make this one! Picking up a rear bar and skids this weekend so hopefully I can get em installed and prepped before next Sat. Will you be wheeling Sunday as well?
Any wheeling Sunday would be limited to the am . Time permitting .

For drivers leaving friday , We are planning to run this trail.

This video looks recent from about a week ago . The trail has some winter rain damage but looks accessible based on this video review . Lots of green!!!

tentative ... would like to join the group on Fri & Sat if I get my LX fixed in time.

how would you rate the difficulty of Graduation Hill and/or required driver skill level?

The majority of trails we will be running r for novice to moderate experience . A stock vehicle with high clearance is acceptable .

I'm in for this run! I'll be leaving Friday morning from Pasadena, and will rendezvous with the rest of the Friday crowd as soon as we have a rally point. I'll be camping both Friday & Saturday nights. Looking forward to seeing you all!
