Wanted Red Original Paint 60 Will Travel

Gents.....I'm Looking for a clean mostly stock survivor, small lift ok. Must be rust free, red and manual. Will travel to the right rig. Tall order, I know, but they are out there. Sun fade on the paint is perfect. I have a built 80 that would be considered for trade if that works, have cash too. Hope this pans out. Thanks.

Good luck on your search, I like the red ones too, but don't worry about peeling clear coat. They didnt put clear on the red ones. All the non-metallic colors are single stage enamel; the metallic colors got the clear coat.

OK, cool. I saw another fellow that took the round headlights and just bolted them in place, apparently they fit perfectly. As far as the manual is concerned, 1800.00 and a 5 speed can be yours.

I'm thinking of cutting loose of my '85 FJ60, red, manual, 170K miles. Paint's in great shape as it's always had covered parking. Hasn't been off-roaded and runs well. No significant rust. Asking $9750. Happy to supply more details and pics on request.

Did you ever find a red FJ60? If not, I have one that I will be selling soon. It is red, original paint, currently faded. I haven't buffed it out yet. I just did a completed tune up. TLC Performance rebuilt carb, new plugs, wires, cap, rotor, coil, battery, fuel filter in the last month. I have all new brakes, new clutch, and parts to rebuild the transfer case. That is what I was going to work on next. Let me know if you are still hunting for one.
