Anyone prefer one over the other?

Is the elasticity of the Snatch Strap that much better?

Thanks

mmm, semantics maybe but usually IIRC, most folks tend to speak of recovery and snatch straps interchangeably (the latter is clearer) (i.e. with stretch) in contrast to tow straps (no stretch).

whether you want a snatch strap of not depends on what you want to do with it, of course. Yes snatch straps have something like 20% stretch built in. Big rubber band.

ummm do you prefer to stack rocks under your tires or stones... which is tougher on your electrical connections, water or H2O...

;)

Interesting...

I ended up with the plain ol' recovery strap.

FWIW Mac I carry both. But have used the recovery strap/tree saver (20'; non-stretch) numerous times...but have never used the "yank"/"snatch" strap (stretch type).

I also carry a 50' blue syn line just in case my winch line isn't long enough...I've used this one too. And I also carry and have used a Snatch Block. You'll also want to carry about a minimum of 4-bow/D shackles (typically 5/8").
