Good evening all! My 18 year old is currently "gaining experience" in multiple ways while working as an intern at the Officers Christian Fellowship retreat center just outside of Bedford PA. He was scouting a potential horse trail earlier today(with the blessing of his supervisor) and got his 4runner stuck. He is on a narrow trail and the staff doesn't think they can get there with the tractor to pull him out.

Currently high centered on the front end with crossed up rear suspension and street tires. Likely just needs a tug off of the rock and maybe some help getting all the way onto the trail and turned around.

Without seeing it, I can't say for sure but my 100 may be too big to make it in there, and I sold my tacoma😅

I'm likely headed up Saturday morning unless someone is close by and can help him tomorrow. If the 100 can't get to him due to width, I'm curious if someone could help out Saturday afternoon?

The pic below is not where he is currently stuck, but about 100 yards up the trail, so indicative of the terrain he is in.

Please let me know if anyone is willing to help out, and I'll keep the thread updated as I learn more. Thanks!

Also, his 4runner is a 2001, VSC currently inop, no lockers, no armor.

Right rear tire is leaking, unknown if it is a puncture, broken bead, or...? He does have a good spare on site.

If I can't get in there with the 100, I'll carry the highlift in and see if I can free him up with that.

I'll bring the highlift, Compressor, can of fixaflat, recovery straps and come-a-long. I do not have a functioning Winch.

I'm headed up this afternoon once I get my wheeling tires on and my front brake pads swapped out. They were paper thin😅😅

What @Crusha said. A come-along and strap could probably get him unstuck.

It's hard to say in one pic but that "trail" looks wide open.

Yup, that is the plan first thing in the morning. I'm only taking the 100 in there if we can't work some magic with a jack and a come-along.

On a side note, traffic today sucked. A 5.5 hour drive turned into 10 hours.

Got it out. A gentle pull with the comealong was all it needed. If I wasn't already planning to be here this weekend, I'd have been a little irritated. 😅😅
