Recently acquired MUD adiction!!!

Hi all I'm relatively new to the MUD community (thanks to Brian in PB) so once I found this forum knew it was time to introduce myself and share some info. + pix

I'm down in Chula Vista (Eastlake area) and have owned my 71 cruiser for a little more then 2 years. Really had no idea what I was getting into when I purchased it and wish I'd discovered this site earlier because I would definitely done several things differently.

It's got a SBC 350, th350 Auto trans and Saginaw PS, hard top and full doors. I just recently hacked (literally) the half doors in the pix and added the family cage along with putting the bezel on correctly. Its only seen a couple dirt roads and some light mud since I've owned it but has been a blast.

Done with the novel for now and look forward to meeting some of you locals and getting advice etc

The only other cruiser I've seen out here is a light blue one any chance that's yours??? I'm located right behind the Albertsons off of Mt. Miguel road we'll have to meet up and compare talk shop etc. I'll post some pix of my hacked doors later for you mcwinery-

I Replied to your e-mail. I would love to see a few pics of the inside of your ride. I too would like to see an inside view of the doors. I don't know that I would ever cut my doors but I would love to find a second set and do some hacking on them.

Plum Crazy, Yep- Found the right thread. I'll post some pix next weekend of the interior. The doors were a set I traded some parts for and had no glass and top frames were mangled (still have the stock full doors)

I've got a B&M floor shifter so sorry for the poor description earlier. Next time I'm in the beach area I'll let you know.
