Rebuild 2L injectors

how hard is it to clean the injectors on an early 2L? I just want to tear them apart and clean them out since my truck is pretty slow, smokes and misses for a few seconds on startup, and overall pretty slow. I’ve sucked rusty/dirty fuel before too, I’ve run some diesel cleaner through the tank, but would just like to be thorough.

Probably not hard. I did it on my 3.0
Toyota pickup, very easy. My dad did it on his BJ60 apparently in a day….. it’s a 80s Toyota engine, just go for it.
