Has anyone with an 03+ LC removed their rear view mirror? I am specifically interested in finding out if the mounting method is the same as that of my 03 LX. On my mirror, there is a metal mount that is adhered to the windshield, then a black mounting plate is affixed by two screws to that. Then the mirror is screwed to that black plate. Can anyone confirm this on their LC? I need to find this black plate but before i do, i wanna make sure that this is not an LX specific part.

Probably a little late but my 05 LC has that setup.
Best I can remember when I had my wife's windshield replaced on her 98 LC, there was a plate that the mirror did screw to with (I think) a set screw.
It's been a couple of years, so I'm no too sure, but that's what I remember.
