Anyone had any issues with the rear wiper and defrost not working? All fuses are good. Where should I start?

Thanks in advance....

Ground wire in the hatch hinge area. I just pushed a new wire through and down to the jack storage area, grounded it there.

Thanks for your help! I'll tackle it this weekend.

I have my own thread going with same problem but only with the power wire to my defrost. Any recommendations on this or can anyone tell me the power wire color combination going back there. There is only a defroster, brake light, and windsheild wiper but appears to be about 10 wires!! I can wiggle my group of wires in the hatch in the rubber boot and I can get intermitent power and all wires appear in good shape.

There is also the lock actuator and a trigger for the inside lights.

Take a look at the wires where they exit the body and go into the hatch (upper ds corner). The wires may have broken or chafed from opening/closing the hatch.

I did pull them out right there and they all look clean and no tears. But from my diagnosis I KNOW it has to be somewhere right there or my wiggling them around wouldn't have helped. Just figured there might be a plug or adapter or something I didn't see near by or just inside or in the rear/tool jack panel.
