Mine broke, fixing it looks harder than i first thought. And it's rusty.
Would there be a better one available somewhere?

Yes. Please do. I have all the routine attachment stuff, except for the little clip that used to be welded to the bottom of this channel.
 
What is the best way to remove/install these metal channels. My rear driver's side is slightly forward which gets hung & knocks the window off track.
You will need to buy the sash rubber from SOR. The glass should have some witness stains showing where it originally sat in the sash. Squeeze the sash with some pliers and don’t get to carried away. Install new rubber channel and tap sash onto glass with dead blow mallet gently

The best way? I only know of one way.
Put the tip of a screwdriver on the bent tab of the locking tab, hit the other end of the screwdriver with a hammer, sliding the locking tab out of the three bent clips . It pretty much falls apart after that
