6months to plan build and perfect... i could whip a box togetehr in no time, but to have it juuust right will take some time getting accustomed to it and get to feel it out... see where those special little improovements can be made.

Some really cool details...Teflon drawer glides, and you can still access the jack compartment.
This pic indicates that the AUS model FJ has a significantly different rear bumper than the US version. Looks like the center "crossmember" section sticks out another 40-60mm past the silver bumperettes, mostly to house the license plate/marker light fixtures.

I made my own storage, fitting a 60lt water tank, 60 lt Engel, slide out frame, cargo barrier, top rack for all the light stuff, and storage down the sides using bags to access through the top.

Tuffy Locking Storage Drawer. Not shown are the Tuffy tie down rails which mount one on each side of the drawer near the edge. The flaps lift up to give access to the stock FJ storage compartments and there is also some storage room between the drawer and the wheel well area. The flaps fold down flat.

Did this one on a budget. I spent about $100 bucks at Lowes on everything to make and install this set of drawers. Took about 8 hours to build and install. Just glad to not be using the tote I had back there before. I figured I would throw the floor mat back on top instead of getting rid of it.
