Hi...I've searched fruitlessly on google, and thought maybe ya'll would know. I have an 85 FJ60 and was wondering where I can find a Rear Bumper that has a spare tire door on it. I like the look, and the added space under the beast. THANKS!

I wouldn't bother mounting anything to the stock bumper, they're not very strong, and if you're going to block quick access to the tailgate, might as well do it with a strong bumper that incorporates other features (jerry can carrier, hi-lift jack mount, ladder, tow points, hitch, cooler rack, etc...)

Holy Crap there expensive....I was just curious as I built my own with two doors (one for tire one for gas can) I do admit they do look really nice ...but mine only cost $50 bucks
my advise...anyone can be a cheque book 4 wheeler, drag racer, harley builder etc...build it yourself and it makes those guys look ... well...you get the picture.

bajaman -

you got any photos
that sounds pretty sweet! wouldnt mind cranking up the new welder on a real project! :D

I looked through my pic files and this is as good as it gets tonight, I'll have to take a better one for you, give me a day or so.
Anyway simple to build, 4x4x1/4" square tubing, 1" solid shaft for the swivels with role pins on the ends so it doesnt pull out, and 2x2x1/8" square for the doors themselves. I havent had a chance to finish welding the sides on yet and I'm covering the whole thing with aluminum checkerplate when I get a chance, and powder coated black, will also work well as a step to the roof rack I built.
