Can you remove the rear sliding windows without removing the frame? Does anyone know how to remove the windows?

Nope, that's all folks. As in you cannot take tht glass out of the frame while still in the wagon.

I would like to remove them for tinting.

First time i see and heard... You dont need to remove it to get tint.
You measure it from the outside and cut exact same pattern, But be carefull not to cut the rubber molding...

I bet he wasn't just having tint film put on. I looked into a dipping process on my old truck that was far superior to the film, but much more $$$$$ of course that doesn't seem to be a problem for you LX 9ER
