The rear suspension on my wife's GX went solid yesterday! What I mean is that, there is basically no movement in it at all, but it's also not sitting low in the back. The air compressor ran a couple of times, but there was no perceptible change in height or softening of the ride. Neither the ride height control button nor the shock selector dial seems to make any difference at all.
While I have read multiple threads where people reported their air bags failing to air up properly (or failing altogether), I haven't been able to find any guidance relating to rear shocks failing to operate (assuming I'm correct on that being the problem here).
My suspicion is: since both shocks appear to be acting the same way, there must've been a failure of a sensor or valve (or both). I'm definitely interested in finding out what's going on here so it can be repaired, but I'm also investigating just replacing a system that is likely to be plagued in the future.
Any thoughts from anyone on what might be wrong and/or what I might check?
Thanks.
