I searched, but I didn't find anything on this.

The straps that hold the rear seats in place when they're folded up - I'm not sure what to call them, so I'm just going to call them seat retention straps. The stitching on the velcro ripped out, and without the velcro to hold the tension, they don't stay taught anymore. It's more of an annoyance than anything, but when I go off road those seats are going to clunk around all over the place.

Has this happened to anyone else?

Does anyone know the part number, or maybe the actual name for those things, so that I can find replacements?

I pulled mine out and used the wife's sewing machine to stitch them back down, took 5 minutes. Little awkward setting the whole seat on the dining room table, but there's enough length in the strap to run it through the sewing machine.

I took mine to a upholstery shop, and had them add two snap buttons on each strap. Been good for 10 years, as it now no longer depends on the velcro.

Remove third seats - problem solved. If you need third row seats, you have to many children!

And yes, those velcro straps are a PITA.

Good thread, the one seat I have installed has this problem. The other one probably does too. Think ill try to sew on some new Velcro
