Lookin for some of those early rear reflectors that came with the early years.

If you got some let me know..

Here are some pics of what they look like

I have seen some 25s with these reflectors and I think the 25s and early 40s had a few carry over parts..

If the reflector I a pic posted of isn't a carry over part let me know and I'll delete this..

Thanks

No need to delete, but I think you're going to have to get them from a 40. Best we can determine the reflectors on the 25 were added by the dealer or Toyota when they got here, and aren't marked Koito.

I have three from A-1's FJ25 and one from the tub I got from Phil.

Phil's is a Stratolite No 38 with a steel frame

A-1's are all stratolite No 38 with aluminum frames

I have similar reflectors that I bought from Napa on mine and will be using the Napa reflectors on the resto.

interesting.. I threw away some stratolite's as well. :( I knew they were generic though. I don't like the the al housing personally. I've never seen the kioto one's. My 64 has some plastic replacments. The reflectors I got for my m416 are very similar to the stratolites.

Mike if you check I think you will find the housing on A1's are metal. I have two 25s that had that shape housing and the stratolite reflectors. I've picked some old military reflectors. I plan on buying new 3" Stratolite reflectors to install. I wonder if the later Kioto's will fit in the housings. If they do that would probably easiest was to repo the reflectors.

they're metal, aluminum, just not steel.

That Stratolite No 38 with a steel frame looks alot like the ones treeroot has. Are those something that are still sold? Or does someone have some they want to part with.. It sounds like if you have the frames you can still get new reflectors for them??

I think I took that pic :)

Yes, that was your pics.

I remember saving the pics to my computer but couldn't find the thread to figure out who took the pics for me..

Thanks again
