Wheeled pretty hard last weekend. Noticed a rear pinion seal leak today. Its at the dealership getting repaired. I did notice a loud thunk from the rear while wheeling. I thought it was the bump stops but now I wonder if it could be something else. Any other ideas?

If you did some water crossings you may have got sand, grit into the seal and caused the leak, as well. I now hate mud/water....

I didn't hit anything and no water crossings. Dealer confirms a leaky pinion seal. Also said my h20 pump is leaking at 75k miles. I guess it's time to do the timing belt too. Quoted 800 bucks to do the belt and pump, not a bad price. But crap, this thing is a money pit. Any more surprises and I'll be in the market for another Jeep.
