Is the fan fixable? I mean did you take it apart? Bad brushes?
A heater without lines and a working fan is tough to justify.

Yeah, I disassembled the motor to see if I could fix it. The lower end of it was rusted solid, I managed to get it freed up but the magnets inside the housing needed epoxied back in place. When I did that the clearance was too tight and I couldn't get the rotor back in place. I didn't bother messing with it after that.
