1. Press SETUP on the remote control to access the main setup menu on the RES screen

2. Use the UP/Down arrows to highlight FM-Modulator and press Enter to confirm your selection

3. In the FM-Modulator menu, press the LEFT/RIGHT arrows to select a radio frequency (16 frequencies are available) and then press Enter

4. Turn on the car radio and tune to the FM frequency you selected.

If the audio is noisy, or does not play, repeat steps above and select a different frequency, then tune the radio to the new frequency.

To turn off the FM transmitter mode, select OFF in the FM-Modulator menu.
Very useful, thank you - my truck came with the RES but no manual for it...

And just to "close the loop", the RES manual is part #PT296-60021-OM ($9.10) and the wireless headphones are part #PT900-00102 ($38.40 each).

$38.40 each isn't nearly as bad as I thought it would be. I might pick up a new pair at that price.

I just finished setting up the DVD player using the steps provided earlier. They worked great. My DVD now plays through fm 88.3

Any one know the part number for the remote for the RES? Is there a way to select menu or play/pause without the remote?

I’m new to the 100 and can’t get sound over the FM Modulator. I know the modulator is broadcasting because if it is on all static or weak channel sound on a channel will go away and be replaced with silence, and if I turn modulator off the static comes back. But, no DVD noise. I can get dvd sound if plugging a headphone into the headphone jack on the overhead factory screen. So DVD player sound works as confirmed by headphones, and modulator is putting out a signal as confirmed by radio, no no dvd sound over FM. What am I missing (besides a chromosome)?
