Do you really need 1" or could you get by with 2 of the 10mm OME packers?

Maybe  I could not find a picture of OME packers so I dont know what they look like. Do they go between spring and the internal spring bump stop or between the bump stop and spring pocket? What keeps them in place? If you can stack them why not 3?

Phil, I can take a pic of mine tomorrow. if you need some 10mm's, I have some spares I can send you. They fit between the springs and the top perch. I believe that OME does not recommend more than 15mm even though I use 20mm with no issues. I think their thought is that they are worried about how much room they take up and maybe the spring coming unseated? I don't know for sure, but I believe when Christo was making 1" and others that he was making them to fit in a way that they also lengthened how far it would have to go to unseat.

The OME are simply like donuts.

Junk I have Slee's taller spacers on now. The coned bump stop bolts to the spring pocket and Slee's spacer go between the two. Me thinks that the cone centers the spring and hold its place. So from the info from OME with a few of the packers the spring could move around. yes/no/maybe

1" spacer

There are 1" spacers available down under. They are made of poly, but are shaped like slee's, not just flat packers (lip to keep the coil centered, etc). I have seen them in my Aussie 4wd mags.

Phil,
Attached is a pic of the 10mm OME packer/spacer. Just a donut basically.

Haven't talked to George S. lately, but I know he was thinking of making some spacers. Could not be too hard to machine out or not too expensive to have someone do it for you.

I'd advise you to call Christo/Robbie/Ben to see what they think about running the OME with their spacer. I do not know how it would work or if their spacers have different dimensions etc. I'd imagine they probably looked at that at some point, but they would know much better than me.
