I'm getting ready to sell my truck, so the LC may find itself taking on some of the truck's duties in the near future. I am just worried about the carpet, trim and back of the rear seats getting damaged/scratched/etc. I currently just have a Weathertech floor liner. But what I would really like is a full-on liner that covers the sides (maybe up to the window), up the back of the seats, and maybe up to the tail gate.

It is highly likely that this product doesn't exist. My question is, if I were to go DIY, what material should I use? Should I just go plywood and try my best to use my non-existent carpentry skills to make this gigantic box? Or some sort of plastic sheet to line everything? It would be preferable if this could be removed easily by one person.

Things I will be hauling--usual stuff from Home Depot runs (mulch, fertilizer, etc.). Bikes, skis, hunting/fishing gear, etc.

By the way, I am not interested in getting a trailer. There is just no space.

Thanks.

Rent a trailer. Cheaper anyway. I would never put loose fertilizer in the back of my truck. Bagged or forget it. That stuff will never come out.

Carbox is the one you want.

That is awesome. Little pricey, but that's almost exactly what I'm looking for. I think that's the way I'll go. I'll also do the aluminum tail gate insert.

Sverige - Yeah, I always get bagged fertilizer. And mulch. I don't need a lot.

i have an OEM Toyota replacement for the carpet thats been in the garage in plastic on my todo list for 4 or 5 years.

i used a crappy thing i bought from the ARB shop here years ago....its ok. But it moves around a lot, but it does have "lips" which prevent some spillage...but you get what you pay for.

if you want the OEM part no let me know but i have pasted on here a long time ago if you want to search it
cheers
peter
