Demonstration purposes only:
Parts needed:
16089 Caliper Slide pin Boot / Bushing
Local parts store will be able to cross reference to their store brand
I used Federal Mogul brand and their part number was 18038A
Use a fine sand paper and polish the slide pins. Ensure no debris inside the slide pin holes. I used a small round wire brush attached to a drill to clean the slide pin holes. Lube the pins and install the dust boots.
The boots came in the kit I bought was pretty snug, and compared to my past attempts to fix it, the boots were pretty good and I am happy knowing the job well done!
After the final install. make sure the boots are not under vacuum, if it is, use a small pick (very helpful in this install) just lift/open one end of the boot to get some air in.
