I'm interested in one for each side!

Updated list of interested parties and prototypes are going out this week for testing

Will have more photos and testing results here soon.

Thanks,
Frank

I'm interested in one. Bump for details on pricing.

The reviews from the testers have been very good on this product and I have 10 sets (right and left) ready to go

These will retail at $44 each OR 2 for $80 (Shipped)

These will be cut, bent, welded, powder coated, packaged and shipped to your door for the 80 bucks.

I have 10 sets ready to go now

I had to do a little grinding after the powder coat (I rattle canned where the grind is) and put a slight bend in it to give it the right angle for the door to close. If you are interested in buying these I will let them go for $70 shipped for both.

I will offer this deal to the folks on post #1 first.
PM me for payment info.

Thanks
Frank

Ready to purchase one. Please pm me with payment instructions!

You can put me down for ONE FOR EACH SIDE.

PM's went out to all the folks that are on the list.

I will ship out the mounts that have been paid today.

Thanks
Frank

Thanks for making these, I look forward to getting them installed.

All paid orders went out today

Still have some left in the first batch of 10. If you're interested in buying these let me know. I want to ship all these mounts and get more feed back before I make more and post in the main 80 Tech section.

Thank you,

Frank

Mine came yesterday and I'll try to get them on tomorrow after I get a couple other projects on the 80 and trailer buttoned up.

Thanks Frank!

Got mine, thanks, time to install.

Just received mine today. I'm very impressed with the build quality of this mount. It's far more robust than the FireStik mount I was originally going to mount.

Here are some pics of it installed:

Installed but Hatch sticks

I tried to install both for an antenna and a backup light in the future. Installed one and noticed that the hatch sticks a bit since it moves out the alignment latch that keep the hatch centered and from moving. Installed the other side and would have to pull very hard to open since it wedges the two hatch hooks into the alignment rubber bumpers. Not sure what may work, Idealy it would work best if the rubber could be incorporated into a new bracket. Considering cutting open the white x out on the attached picture so that I can mount them on the out side of the alignment rubber bracket. Or maby cutting the new bracket and welding it to the existing hatch alignment bracket. Any thoughts?

Any thoughts?

Look at the photos in post number one. The folks that were part of the test group removed the catch piece and did not complain of rattle from the rear hatch. Try it out and let me know what you think.
