If you need to stop the rear compressor after installing a lift that replaced the airbags with coils, here's the solution.

1. Find the compressor located behind the driver's rear tire and partially remove the plastic cover to access the connector.

2. Disconnect the harness plug and inspect the contacts closely. Identify the specific contacts where you will install the resistor. To achieve a good connection, you'll simply insert the resistor legs into these contacts.

3. Insert the resistor into the connector as far as it will go, then secure it with electrical tape. Wrap the plug in multiple layers of electrical tape to prevent moisture.

4. Look above the solenoid and identify the red and black power wires going into the compressor. Cut the black wire to stop power to the pump.

5. (Optional) In case you decide to reverse this modification in the future, apply dielectric grease to the empty compressor solenoid plug and cap both sides of the black wire cut in step 4 to protect them from damage.

Doing this has not triggered any dashboard warnings or lights and has successfully eliminated the annoying humming from the compressor.

Kit from Amazon that includes some 1/4 Watt 5.1 Ohm resistors.

Ever since I had to replace my ECU I've had that notice on my dash about my suspension (suspension is all Icon).
Happens I have a "kit" of resistors with a couple of hundred, looked, and lo and behold! I have a 5.1 K Ω resistor!
Question, where underneath is that plug? For reference, what is it near?

Also, there wouldn't be a simple fix like this for the AFS lights too?

Compressor is in the left fender area… I don’t know offhand how far the connector is

When the plastic shield is pulled back it's the first thing you see, really decent access.

Okay, this is going to sound stupid, but from what Acrad sent your comment, I'm still not sure where under the vehicle I'm looking.
Is it by the passenger rear wheel, or the rear bumper, if so, which side?
Do you have a photo that is pulled back to show some reference points, like a shock, exhaust, suspension or something?

In the area behind and below the fuel filler.
 
Dove under the rear this morning to try that 5.1 K Ω.
Nada... Nothing. Still get the Air Suspension alert on the center of the binnacle.
I have it in exactly the same holes holes in the male plug as you have in the picture, and I know resistors are not polarity sensitive, so it doesn't matter which way they go in. With the car completely turned off, I turn on, just the ignition and the outside temperature shows for a moment, then the suspension alert. Turned off and turned on the engine, same thing.

Wonder if there's a code that has to be cleared or because my air suspension has been gutted, if that's an issue? Never had the issue before till I changed out the ECU.

Theories
1. ECU needs some kind of handshake with another component that's not happening. Physical connection issue?
2. The "new" ECU requires programming to communicate with other components. i.e. I recently installed RES and needed Techstream to pair it with the ECU.
3. An electrical part of the system has been removed. Air Suspension relay?

Beyond that, I'm out of ideas.

The point of the mod is to prevent the compressor start signal not clear current dash warnings(in my defense)

@r2m You don't need Techstream to pull the codes. OBD Link can pull the codes

Connect to Network E and codes should be there

If you aren't seeing that prompt in OBD Link

Goto SETTINGS - PREFERENCES - COMMUNICATIONS - Prompt for ECU <---- Select this and Connection mode to MANUAL
