So my 2005 has the rear air suspension and it seems to hold up decent but it does have a slight leak. Not to mention it feels like it rolls an ankle every time you go through a bumpy curve so I think it’s about to go.
Problem is, I can’t seem to source rear isolators ANYWHERE. I know I can sell a kidney and get them from Toyota but has anyone found any other options outside of that?
Also, is the isolator really NEEDED? I understand it just seems to be a heavy rubber piece that fits between the spring and the body. I found a company that makes insulators in an assortment of shapes and sizes, is there any reason this wouldnt work? Just find the dimensions of the spring I’ll use and order in that will fit that size?
