Can anyone give me tips on upping the wire guage to the rear 12v outlet?
I'm getting way too much voltage drop...

Specifically Wheres the fusebox and circuit the factory wiring come from for the rear outlet?

Thanks!

I just added a 15A breaker at the battery. Ran 10 Gauge through the inside of the frame and into the rear quarter panel next to the drain tube. Cut the factory wire 2" from the factory outlet and crimped on the new wire.

The wire running to that outlet is thin, it's probably 5amp rated. Like Phil, I ran 10 or 6 gauge from battery to a blue sea on passenger side for more power.

I ran a 4awg cable, fused @ 100amps at the battery - down the frame and up the rear corner. Threw a BlueSea fuse block beside the jack and mounted a new plug above the factory one. This one is always hot, so my fridge (or whatever) can stay plugged in, and by running a large cable I'm able to support several devices if I wish.

Just as easy to run larger cable as smaller - do it once and never have to do it again...

Specifically, in the fuse box under the hood. Wiring goes from hot side of relay to 15mm wire (about the same size as 18awg) and branches to the outlet next to the lighter, one in the front console, and the one in the back. As others have posted, I'd run a separate 10awg minimum lead from the battery back to the rear outlet, and use a fuse block from there. Blue Sea power outlets and plugs are rated at 15A.
