So I deleted my front heater core last year due to a bad leak. I tried ordering one a few times, bought one from another mudmember, tried finding someone to recore or repair. Nothing. Always the wrong size or radiator repair shops that dont actually repair just replace these days. The part number comes up as discontinued as well.

This is for a RHD BJ74 1988.

Anyone know wh were even I can source one or a shop that will recore this either in southern California or somewhere I could mail it?

Radiator recoring and repair shops still exist. They aren't as common as they used to be but I had a place in Kelowna do mine. A bit far for you to ship but I'm sure there's a place near where you live if you call around.

Or try G&S, Radd Cruisers, All Toy, 4wheelauto, EBI, ATEB or any other cruiser specialty shop for a used one

Is a core from an FZJ80 any different I wonder?

No I already send him one and Deepseacruiser mentioned they are different in size ?

Heater core on the right is what I pulled from my RHD BJ74.
Heater core on the left is the one I got from Joekatana. Which I believe came from a LHD 70?

Any ideas?

Looks like inlet bottom, outlet top? I don't get home until Sunday. I'll look then
and get back to you. I don't have proper info until then.
I'm surprised that local rad shop doesn't have a catalogue of cores, then could just
build in the inlet/outlets.

What?

you live in So Cal, why do you need two heaters?

Just kidding. There is a place somewhere in the UAE that have a huge supply of OEM parts. Can't remember the name, but it's been mentioned here on mud before.

Assuming Toyodiy is correct and the part# is 87150-90K06, then PartSouq does not carry it.

I think having it rebuild or a new one made is going to be the best option.

I'm doing this job now. I saw the cores on cruiserparts but I haven't ordered it yet, so not sure if they are in stock.

Joekatana - how do the inlet and outlet lines come apart? Is there a seal in there or are they just compressed?
