Real-time Wheel removal problem...

Very common. Aluminum when it oxidizes grows slightly dimensionally. After cleaning the crud off, put a very, very light coat of anti-seize around the steel hubs on the truck before remounting the wheels. You'll never experience this problem again. Be careful to not get anti-seize on the studs though.

Had to beat all 4 stock LX570 rims off with a rubber mallet when I first got the truck. Solid whacks on the tire in a circular pattern until it pops free. Same procedure, cleaned up both surfaces with a wire wheel and a light coat of anti-seize. Had the same thing happen on my FJ with TRD wheels.

Old post but if that happens to anyone you are behind on maintenance, wheels should come off twice a year no matter what, lube your brake caliper studs etc I also do lube or anti seize flat rim surface which contacts the hub.

To remove the wheel do not beat your wheel, loosen all lugs just a tad and drive that wheel slowly over bump, curb, brick or 2x4, it would pop with ease and it works every single time, just keep all 5 lugs on - they are flared so no need to worry about wheel damage. Toyota Master told me that back in the day when wheel got stock on my 470

I've never had to beat on the wheel. A full-size sledge hammer, sliding slowly horizontally along the ground, from under the truck to outside the truck, tapping the bottom of the tire pops it right off with very little force. It's about momentum, not smacking the heck out of the wheel.
