In the Garage helping a buddy trying to fix a winch. The damn thing won't spool in or out. We have tested silinoids and they are "clicking". What the Duce? Anyone have an idea?

Where is all the tweekers when you need them?

After taking the motor out we found that the electric connectors were unconnected. Soldered them back together and good to go for now.

Take aways:
1) Buy a warn
2) Start project when people are awake on mud
3) did i say buy a Warn?
4) jack daniels is good for any project

Mile Markers electrics suck.

Cheap remotes+unreliable solenoids+ permanent magnet motors = a winch that won't last long and can easily get dangerous.

HEHEHE got to love it. X2 on all four points. The best work that you can do is to uninstall and put it out at the curb to be recycled.
(good to go for now) For now is a very subjective term.
