My '06 has done this off and on (currently on) since I got it - with 39,000. So, it's not a wear/mileage thing. It's more of a dumbshitengineer spec'ed the wrong adhesive thing. I may just ditch the cover. Oooh, does that count as a mod'

I fixed the cover vibration issue by placing 4x 1/4 thick rubber grommets on the mounting brackets under the cover. Worked just fine. That way you don't have to worry about re glueing foam and it possibly detaching onto your hot exhaust.Found this to be my problem recently - I know it's purely cosmetic, but I want the cover on there. For those who have fixed it, what thickness of foam and what sort of adhesive did you use?
