Range Rover Sport versus LX570

I don't know guys- if my wife agreed that quick satisfaction is more important than longevity and reliability, I may be looking for divorce attorneys for when she sends the impending papers.
(Especially when both are luxurious).

Currently, my wife drives the old TDI VW we bought when we first got married. Even with the recall she says she likes her car and sees no reason to get rid of it. As long as she keeps that mindset, I am happy (and have a wallet to find my projects).

If the RR (the real RR, not the sport) is a girl in a mini skirt, the LC is the chic on a mountain bike with quads of goddesses- choose which you want!

Dude...you need to write! Love your "quads of goddesses" description...;)

Same here I went LC first because it's an LC but also because it is so under the radar and so unassuming. I have close to 150 employees and the last thing I want is to be flashy. Same on the streets and with the cops, understated us always good. I don't give a flying F### of what people think of me or what my neighbors think, I don't follow the jones. Love the LC for what it is.

I get the Escalade and Pharaoh commercial. However, I view my LC as that same carriage because of the heritage, etc.

Truthfully, I've considered a caddy and drove a Tahoe ( 2005 to 2008) but have since switched to Toyota because it makes for sense to me for various reasons and change in taste.

When it comes to Chariots- the RR also covers this. I am going to my buddy's shore house this weekend and will probably take a few turns in his brand new RR (V6, Turbo) while out there. I am sure I will enjoy every minute of it and I wouldn't discount the potential for a RR in my future.

That being said- the RR is the girl in the miniskirt- not the RR Sport!

Personal preferences in women aside, the RR Sport is a little "immature" for my taste! That is why I bought an LC! (sorry, had to poke fun at ya Texas!)

Sorry. We were piling on a bit. And back to the original topic, I don't know if you all have seen this video. Probably not fair to the RRS as this sort of thing can have a lot to do with the driver. But it did showcase the 200-series capabilities and actually played a role in convincing me that I could move from my LR4 to the LC without losing much in terms of offroad capabilities.

Oh, there are no words. Just overly dramatic music. So you may want to put it on mute.

Maybe he doesn't care if people think he is as successful as he really is.

I deleted my post. I get not wanting to show off, but if we're being honest, that's caring what people think.

You're right. Nothing wrong with looking sharp or wanting to appear consistent with your style preferences. For me, it is just well down on my list. But that's me. And I will not deny that there are certain vehicles just look awesome. Not every vehicle body type has become a "classic". And it does put a smile on my face when I'm out on a weekend and see someone doing their weekend drive in a lovingly restored Mustang or a classic Corvette or whatever. Good for them.
