Raising seats in 45

Hey guys i remember reading here that a guy raised his seats up a few inches. This would make it way more comfortable to drive i think. I cant seem to find it anywhere.

Space out the seat footings from the floor and get some longer bolts.

I know how to do it just curious on others experience with it. Good bad. Seems like a win win

A little different but I did 79 fj40 bucket seats. Shimmed the front up aprox 1 1/2 and it is unbelievable , I'm 6'1" .

Yes i was thinking about 2" and 1" to the rear just to have my knees higher then butt.

How tall are you? I put in some buckets from a Cadillac CTS. Very comfy. They sit about 2" higher than stock. I'm 6'3". The extra seat height is great for vision while driving but completely cuts off the ability to see traffic lights above at intersections.

Im 6' tall. Dont drive up so far so you cant see the lights lol.

I did it 1" and it made a difference. I am 5'10" got longer bolts and away I went, good luck.
