The kids and I had a great time. Thanks for leading this one Sam. After we pulled off at our camp spot we waited for the rain to quit by drinking pop and eating chocolate chip cookies. It took about 40 minutes for the rain to quit then I got the fire going to dry out the chairs. I set the tent up then made dinner and by then it was dark. i made smores for the boys and I, then I finally got to have a beer. I was ready for a second one but the kids wanted to go to the tent. Once in the tent it started to rain again. Perfect timing they said. I ended up going to westcliffe for gas and ice cream before we headed home. The Wife is pretty jealous she didn't get to go on this one so i may have to go back sometime soon.

Good to know it is still rougher than a cob. We ran up Wheeler on our side and all the rain has made parts of that trail similar to hermit.
