Does anyone know what the backspacing was on the wheels for the raffle 62 ..
I am going to get a set of TreadWright 315/75/16's and need to get a set of rims.
I have been looking through the forum for pics of this size of tire/wheel combo to decide on wheel backspacing..
I like the look of the raffle 62 but would like to keep the tires from sticking out that far.
This maybe a stupid question but the guy from the local tire shop has me questioning what backspacing is..
Is backspacing measured from the inside of the rim to the hub? as in if a lay a straightedge on the lip of the rim and measure from the wheel center to the straightedge that gives you your BS correct?
He was trying to tell me that i need to measure from the outside facing lip to the wheel center. So now I am questioning myself..

Are you looking for a 10 or 8 wide wheel.

Backspacing no more than 3.75" on steel wheels. On Mickey Thompson, Eagle, and Pro Comp there 4" backspacing with the -11mm offset fit on 8" wide wheel

Or you could use a 4"+ backspacing and some spacers from Trail Gear.

I am looking for an 8" wheel.
but would still like to know what BS (or part #)the raffle rigs wheels are so I know what not to order.
Thanks

yep, they did. jeremy huskey was the guy who got them for us. iirc, it was 3.25. i really didn't want rims that stuck out that much and normally 3.5 would be fine, but they now have a "reinforcing" lip on the spokes that sticks out and hits the caliper (you can kind of see it in this pic). i tried the 15 with 3.5 and it rubbed. also tried a 15 w/ 3.50 alum, but it would've meant changing out all the studs and trying to source longer studs

great thanks, that was what i needed to know.. It's not that i think they looked bad it just not the look i am going for..Did they rub bad or just a little becouse I know alot of guys grind there calipers and run'em anyway.
I have been surching the forum to find a picture of the rear and the front (preaty much straight on ) to get an better idea, but have not been succesful..so if someone has a shot of there rig from the front and or rear running 35's please either post'em or PM to me ..also include the BS of wheel
