Ive got a slow leak, see pictures below, at the lower part of my radiator. I've replaced the petcock a few weeks ago and after several inspection it appears to be at the seam. That's the only wet spot. Could I try sealing this with JB Weld? Advice is appreciated.

I would pull it and have it repaired.

Radiator's probably full of crap and you have uncovered a leak that was filled with it. Depends on how bad a shape its in, if it needs rodding out and or a new core. I would try to have it repaired and save may pennies till the day comes when you will have to replace it, because that day is coming. Your sure its not the hose?

I check the hose every time, and it never feels wet. I keep thinking I'm missing something.

I do see junk around the cap anytime I open it.

Is changing a radiator something a beginner can do? It doesn't seem to be an extremely difficult project, but then again what do I know.

Lol I don't know, I ended up pulling the head light doors, grill and the a/c condenser. but I was ordering new stuff any way so I let the air ratchet loose on it. Just seemed like the easiest way. Kinda like while I'm at it type of deal. I know there's others with a lot more experience that have there on way.

Just finished removing mine, haven't' put it back in yet since I'm also doing a slew of "While I'm in there...."
It's pretty straight forward and a  job! Remove the headlight doors and grill as gator suggested, but you don't have to disconnect the AC, just undo the mounting bolts on the condenser, move it forward a bit to get at the radiator bolts from the front.

Good Luck!

Well, you can always dump some snuff in it till you make up your mind. I bet the old timers haven't heard that in awhile.
