Hey Guys,
Would it be a problem to use a new 40 radiator w/ my 1HZ-T? Should I use something bigger. I live in Texas so summers are pretty warm. 100F +. Would the turbo cause any heat problems?
Thanks,
Michael

IMO there is no reason you can't use an FJ rad to cool your 1HZ-T, Diesels generally put less thermal load on the cooling system than a comparable size gas engine.

Thanks Man! Daniel is getting things lined up. We are going to use a 81' 40 rear that he has. It will be the most forward approach I think. I just hope we could have it done around the new year.

Cheers,
Michael

No sweat! Keep me posted. I should have my 1HD-T in my 80 shortly after christmas too..
Managed to put a few days in on it this week..

I have the hose numbers somewhere in my mess, no promises but I will look for them and forward you the part numbers.

Works fine even with a turbo-d 1HZ.
